Elizabeth has been recognized as a leader in the field of new media since its earliest days. She has authored articles for publication and is frequently asked to speak at seminars. Her work has been featured in widely in the press.
Her career began at Brown-Forman where she built marketing research databases and prepared charts for presentation. At her next two jobs she learned to create corporate slide presentations and print advertising and wrote client and employee educational materials. In 1992, Elizabeth joined ShowTech, where she was introduced to interactive multimedia and digital video. From 1993 to 1998, she ran Lawler Creative Media and developed a client base of corporations, non-profit organizations and advertising agencies.
Moving to the web was a natural step and in March 1995, Elizabeth designed her first web site for former employer BCH. Early high-profile projects and publicity led to three solid years of referral business and by the fall of 1998, Lawler had to expand. Iris was formed with the former owner of EnVizions Technology, another web and multimedia company.
