Salon.net was a site before its time, concepted in 1995. The site was to be a portal for the beauty industry, with company advertising, events, industry information, beauty tips and fashion shows. The site even had a live chat and classified submission form. The project unfortunately never took off, but the logo and web site visuals were widely admired.
