Iris Interactive CEO to Headline Women In Bio Meeting

Janaki J. Joshi, CEO of Iris Interactive, the product development and growth management software platform for pharma and biotech sectors, will present "Virtualizing Biotech—3 Key Strategies for Success" at the July meeting of Metro New York Women In Bio. The talk will focus on key strategies for taking a company to the next value inflection point with the least amount of capital and in the shortest timeframe. While collaborating with specialist business partners and operating as a virtual organization is one of the best routes to this goal, maintaining control of all development activities can be a challenge.

Convening July 14 at 6:00 p.m. at Café Centro, 200 Park Avenue at 45th Street, event registration can be completed at www.womeninbio.org (WIB-Metro New York, Events) and includes light fare, wine and nonalcoholic beverages. "I will be speaking to issues in FDA-regulated environments using a 'Lean Biotech' framework," said Joshi. "Challenges related to taking an FDA-regulated product from inception, development, evaluation and manufacture to launch [will be discussed]. As a member of the New York Chapter, my goal is to provide local entrepreneurs with key strategies looking to commercialize products in regulated environments."

WIB members and nonmembers are invited.
